Jarrod Bunch is a former NFL running back, an actor, producer, motivational speaker, businessman and football coach. He carved his path to athletic and acting success while at University of Michigan. In college, Jarrod was captain of the football team, involved in events that showcased his talents for public speaking and the arts.
In 1991 Jarrod was a first round draft choice of the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants. He was selected Giants Offensive Player of the Year in 1992. He retired in 1995 following a career ending knee injury. The same year, Jarrod met his wife Robin Emtage, a photographer and makeup artist, who he married in 1998. Jarrod moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue more opportunities in the entertainment industry. His television and film acting credits now include various lead and supporting roles for such shows as: CSI Miami, Rizzoli & Isles and Entourage. He played the young George Foreman in the Emmy award winning HBO film, Don King: Only in America. Jarrod has appeared in over 100 national commercials and also appeared in one of 2012’s most anticipated films, Django Unchained, for which Quentin Tarrantino won the Oscar for “Best Original Screen Play.”
Jarrod owns Bunch Time Productions, an independent production company that is currently creating projects for NFL network and other media outlets. In July of 2018 Jarrod took another bold step and accepted the head coaching job at Beverly Hills high school. The school hadn’t won a game in 3 years and only one game a season the past 9 years. Jarrod coached a team of only 23 total players to a 2-win season.
